Magdalena Jelonkiewicz

Psychotherapist, psychologist, business trainer

Since 2011, I accompany my clients in their current challenges, I support them in difficult times and help to lighten the available options for action when they find themselves in an impasse. I used to be a globetrotter: Ireland, USA and Germany have been my home for over 7 years. At that time, I was working in international corporations. A six-month vacation for a trip around the world and the decision to return to the country started the process of changes in my life: from the world of business relations to the world of personal relationships, to helping and accompanying other people on their path of development. Together with the PwC Academy, I have prepared a postgraduate program "Modern Business Services", I teach at managerial and coaching studies at the Radom Academy of Economics. I provide leadership coaching services for entrepreneurs at home and abroad. At home, I divide my time between my husband, my son and my faithful dog, trying to find the right proportions of time.

I work in the humanistic trend of Gestalt psychotherapy. The key aspects for me resulting from Gestalt: being in the here and now, authenticity, commitment, comprehensive understanding of a person (thoughts, feelings, behavior, body sensations), individual and subjective approach (the uniqueness of each person's functioning), and above all the belief that each person has the potential to be fully fulfilled and happy. I address my psychotherapeutic support to people who experience difficulties in building satisfying relationships, experience blockades and fears in expressing their emotions, want to increase self-confidence and make choices based on an authentic understanding of themselves and their needs. I also work with people who struggle with a sense of emptiness, loneliness, confusion, fear, alienation and depression. I support people in a difficult life situation (e.g. loss, mourning, illness, divorce) and people burdened with the impact of stress, experiencing burnout. My professional experience is also built through many years of work in the HR area (including recruitment, training, meeting facilitation, coaching, mediation, building strategies and policies, designing a culture of effective communication). Anna Winowska

I am a psychologist and psychotherapist in the Solution Focused Brief Therapy approach. I graduated in clinical (practical) psychology at the SWPS University in Sopot - it was my choice of heart and the opportunity to develop my passion. Courses on Counteracting Violence, Addiction and Needs-Based Communication (NVC) would be particularly important to me. I am a lawyer by my first education. Legal studies taught me the importance of words, critical thinking and a meta-level perspective on the coexistence of science, philosophy, ethics and areas of understanding, e.g. organization. Volunteering at a juvenile detention center in Gdańsk was a great experience of the importance of authenticity, sincerity of intentions in contact with other people and incredible satisfaction from noticing a glimmer of hope in the eyes of my interlocutor. At the Crisis Intervention Center in Gdańsk, I learned how to help in a situation of severe stress, as it is crucial to be mindful, listen to and care for emotions. Working in corporations and law firms gave me experience of performing tasks under the pressure of deadlines and under the stress of not empathic communication. I am glad when I hear from my clients that the change of perspective helped them a lot and that the conversation with me brought relief and increased motivation. A relationship based on authenticity, equality and empathy is important to me. I believe that we already have everything we need inside, sometimes we just lack access to it, because our minds are an incredibly complex and beautiful secret, still being discovered, which thrives best in safe contact with other people.
